Page 200, Sausage Breakfast Bake

I made the pork sausage and mushroom soup version on 25 Apr 2021, very easy to put together, and my father, who does not like cornbread, 2 servings of this, and he said “this is very good!”

The topping I used was honey, and I have to say, this is an excellent dish to make and even cornbread haters will like this. My Mom has already asked me to put this on the weekly rotation! It is that good.

I made the smoked sausage and cheese soup version on 4 Apr 2021, and once again my Dad loved this and enjoyed two servings. Excellent flavor, and with the butter and syrup, the taste is very much like a thick pancake with sausage in it. For the sausage I used little smokies, which was absolutely perfect.

On 13 May 2021, I made the Italian sausage and celery soup version and again, not disappointed! I used regular size Italian sausage links, cut them in half and cooked them per the recipe. Excellent dish and flavorful.
