Thailand 1 Dollar Meals Wiki

I am back in Thailand now (since 10 Oct 2021 after a 2½ year stint back in the states) and getting into the routine of buying local or Thai made goods to support the economy where I live. Occasionally I get asked for what brand of products are good and recommended, and here is my list.

Items will be list in alphabetical order and country of origin will be stated as (Thailand).

This is a work in progress list and will be updated as I add to it.

• Mayo - preferred brand is Kewpie (Japan). In a pinch I will use Sukhum brand (Thailand).
• Saltine Crackers - Haitai (South Korea).
• Sardines - Ayam Brand (Malaysia). Preferred is in olive oil, but the tomato sauce ones are also excellent.
• Tomato Paste - Mica (Thailand).
• Tomatoes Diced - Brook (Thailand).
• Tomatoes Whole - Brook (Thailand).
