  • 1<\/span> cup<\/span> butter<\/span>, softened, (2 sticks \/ 1 block)<\/span><\/li>
  • 1<\/span> cup<\/span> brown sugar<\/span>, packed<\/span><\/li>
  • \u00bd<\/span> cup<\/span> sugar<\/span><\/li>
  • 2<\/span> eggs<\/span><\/li>
  • 1<\/span> teaspoon<\/span> vanilla extract<\/span><\/li>
  • 1 \u00bd<\/span> cups<\/span> all purpose flour<\/span><\/li>
  • 1<\/span> teaspoon<\/span> baking soda<\/span><\/li>
  • 1<\/span> teaspoon<\/span> ground cinnamon<\/span><\/li>
  • \u00bd<\/span> teaspoon<\/span> salt<\/span><\/li>
  • 3<\/span> cups<\/span> quick cooking rolled oats<\/span>, or old fashioned<\/span><\/li>
  • 1<\/span> cup<\/span> raisins<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n

    Instructions

    • Preheat your oven to 180\u00b0 C (350\u00b0 F). Get out a baking sheet and line with parchment if desired for easier cleanup, or just leave it ungreased.<\/span><\/div><\/li>
    • In a mixing bowl, add the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk together then set aside. <\/span><\/div><\/li>
    • In a large mixing bowl, add the butter and both sugars and beat with an electric mixer until creamy.<\/span><\/div><\/li>
    • Add the eggs and vanilla and beat well to combine.<\/span><\/div><\/li>
    • Add the flour mixture and mix together well using a large sturdy spoon.<\/span><\/div><\/li>
    • Mix in the oats and raisins until mixed in well.<\/span><\/div><\/li>
    • Drop by rounded tablespoons on your prepared baking sheet.<\/span><\/div><\/li>
    • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.<\/span><\/div><\/li>
    • Cool for 5 minutes on baking sheet and remove to wire rack to cool.<\/span><\/div><\/li>
    • Serve and enjoy.<\/span><\/div><\/li><\/ul><\/div>

      For Bar Cookies<\/h4>

      • Spread cookie dough evenly in an ungreased 9x13 inch metal baking pan.<\/span><\/div><\/li>
      • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.<\/span><\/div><\/li>
      • Allow to cool, cut into squares, serve and enjoy.<\/span><\/div><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n
