I made this on 9 Aug 2021, exactly as written, end result is beans with an excellent flavor from the onion soup mix.

The bake time is 1 hour, but goes together in just a few minutes, so if wanting to spend less time in the kitchen but want a good meal, this is a winner.

I did use vegetarian beans, what I had on hand, worked perfectly, and the hot dogs I chose to use were chicken dogs, which worked very nicely.

Overall, a great recipe, simple and tasty.
