I made this on 2 Aug 2020, recipe was followed exactly but I did modify it to reflect a 7×11 pan instead of a 8×8 pan. The ale imparts little flavor so I would easily say any beer could be used, ale or lager. The japapeno peppers give a nice mild flavor that does not overwhelm the taste of the cornbread.

The honey butter, simple, and tasty!
