When I started this site it was intended for the Expats in Thailand, it has grown and now has a good following worldwide so I will add worldwide links, and of course, these will be still be reputable businesses or sites that I know first hand.

Avocados – This is a contact for Australian imported avocados as well as Thai grown, reasonable prices, cheaper than the supermarkets, the link takes you to her facebook page, from there, send her a message and she will reply. Thailand.

Natasha’s Kitchen – This is an extensive recipe site featuring many Ukrainian, Russian, and International dishes. Some recipes are posted here as well. United States.

Raro Cast Iron Pans – My cast iron pan of choice is my 12 inch pan that I located right here in Thailand, and I am very satisfied with quality. Have a look if you are looking to buy a cast iron pan or pot, they even have recipes listed. Thailand. Highly recommended.

Accommodations

Season Namkorn Resort – Located in a rural area outside the northern city of Chiang Rai, located near Wat Rong Khun and Khun Korn Waterfall. Cleans rooms, excellent meals at the restaurant, professional and friendly staff. This is the place I stay at when I visit Chiang Rai. Highly recommended.

Expat Hotel – Reasonably priced rooms in the center of Patong but on a quiet street. Swimming pool, restaurant, sports bar on site as well. Highly recommended, this is the place I stay at when I visit Phuket.

The Links Hotel, Restaurant, & BarCome stay at our friendly Hotel, Restaurant and Bar conveniently located in Pattaya. Very reasonable room rates and a delicious Western and Thai menu that is also very reasonably priced. Highly  recommended.

Nong Apartments – One bedroom serviced apartments in central Pattaya, including a kitchenette, with affordable rates. Available for daily, weekly, and monthly rentals. This is the place I stay when going to Pattaya. Highly recommended.

Dining

Ship Inn Bar & Restaurant – located right on Ao Yon Bay in Phuket. Friendly and honest service, offering Western, Thai, and even spicy Isaan dishes for your dining pleasure.

Mike’s Tex-Mex Restaurant – has been open since 2000 in Pattaya. If you like the taste of traditional Mexican dishes, you are in for a treat. Mike’s Originals are very popular as well. Their dishes are simple and fresh, and use nothing canned or frozen! When I travel to Pattaya to see friends, I enjoy dinner there every night!

Fishing

Phuket Game Fishing Club – A Club purely dedicated to fishing in the local area and helping the younger generation on this wonderful island appreciate the fun we can have as well as installing an appreciation for the environment.

Gottcha Big Game Fishing – premium fishing service operating from Phuket, and all the way out to the Andaman Islands. Quality equipment, boat, and crew. The Captain and crew, they know where the fish are and are knowledgeable in all fishing styles.

Things To Do

S. K. Car Rent – No link offered here as this is a private driver in Chiang Rai in the far north. I used this service, there was four of us and the driver was professional, recommended sights to see, very safety minded. Excellent driver and guide. Highly recommended. Khun Udom is the man to contact at 086-921-7466.

Phuket Sail Tours – offers quality tours in Phang Nga Bay and to the Phi Phi Islands. Low number of guests per boat, sights that many operators do not take people. Highly recommended.

The Canadian Jackelope Open – aim is to promote general charitable purposes for the benefit of the Camillian Social Center, Rayong in order to alleviate social and economic disadvantage to HIV/AIDS families and orphaned or abandoned children.
